With the final SAL meet last Saturday, this means the winter season is coming. Senior coach Julian Critchlow has just put together this winter training sessions the season.
Track – Warming up from 18.45 for a 19.00 start.
Hills – First Tuesday of the month at 18:45 in Gallows Hill Lane Abbots Langley
In the two recent SAL meets, Julian Critchlow has achieved times in the 5000m and 3000m to place him at the top of UK age rankings in the V55 Category. On the 9th of July at Watford Julian finished with a time of 9min48sec.9 in the 3000m. Whilst at Woodford in 5000m he finished in a time of 16min55sec.9.
At Watford Open Graded Meet on the 29th June 2016 Conor Keogh finished 3rd in his 1500m race, with a time of 4min12sec.31 This places him currently 10th in this age group rankings.

We have been requested to add another 3000m at the Open Meet at 18:45 on the 27th July 2016. At the same meet, last year, we had 17 athletes go under this time and we hope that this race will bring out similar performances. There may be one or two pacers as well to assist.

Over the past 18 months members of the Harriers committee have been working towards earning the club the UKA “Club Mark” accreditation. On the 28th June 2016 we will formally awarded the Club Mark Certificate.
