Watford Harriers have always been one of the leading road running clubs in Hertfordshire and our flagship event, the Watford Half, takes place every February in Cassiobury Park. We compete across all disciplines on the road from 5k all the way to marathon, including relays.
Our main session takes place on Wednesday evening at 7pm from Sun Postal Sports & Social Club. Please remember to bring your £1 subs as changing/shower/storage facilities are provided and you are encouraged to stay for a drink afterwards. Please dress sensibly taking in to account the season, during the winter bright clothes are advised. We have four usual routes that alternate on a weekly basis so please check the Facebook group or twitter page for updates on what route will take place that week. We also have shorter routes available for those not wishing to tackle the full distance.

We enter many races throughout the year and the 2018 schedule can be found at the bottom of the page.
The county races will also constitute the Club Championships for each discipline. However as we are hosting the Watford Half Marathon, the Vets Club Half Marathon Champs will take place at the Berko half instead.
Herts Parkrun Challenge
The Herts Parkrun Challenge is a new, friendly in club competition for Watford Harriers members over 15. We will visit all 14 of the county's parkruns throughout the course of the year. Points will be awarded in a handicap system, so that anyone has a chance of winning regardless of ability. Bonus points will also be awarded, so the more events you make the better your chances will be. For full points break down, please download the league table pdf at the bottom of the page.
