What We Do
Athletics
Watford Harriers have been bringing athletics to the district since 1925. Our home at Woodside Stadium boasts some of the best facilities and coaching in southern England. Our Open Meets also attract the best athletes including the BMC. We cater for minors through to seniors. Our Juniors compete in the EYAL and our Seniors compete in the SAL.
Cross Country
During the winter months the club competes in the Chiltern Cross Country League and this year we retained Division 1 status, winning the Dennis Orme Trophy! We have also hosted the Herts County Cross Country Championships in the past and we also host the Year 5 Watford & District Schools Cross Country Final . This takes place annually in March.
Road Running
Watford Harriers have always been one of the leading road running clubs in Hertfordshire and our flagship event, the Watford Half Marathon, takes place every February in Cassiobury Park. We also host a kids fun run every year, the Junior Challenge and this takes place in March. We compete across all disciplines from 5k-marathon.
