Junior Challenge

Venue: Cassiobury Park

The Junior Challenge is a road race (fun run) held annually by Watford Harriers at Cassiobury Park. This is open to all children in primary school and secondary school years 7-9. This is also regardless of ability and a great opportunity for athletes to represent their schools in a competitive event. We have two races in the following age categories: U8s & U10s-U14s.

DUE TO EXPECTED NUMBERS THERE WILL BE TWO SEPARATE RACES:

The first for UNDER 8’s of approx. 1.2km will start at 11.45 a.m.

The second for UNDER 10’s, UNDER 12’s and UNDER 14’s of approx. 2.5km at 12 p.m.

There will be an ENTRY FEE OF £6.00 and a medal will be given to all finishers.

The first three boys and girls in each category will receive a prize to be presented at the start/finish as soon as possible after the races.
