Like most athletics clubs Watford Harriers are reliant on volunteers in order to operate.

All of the following club roles are voluntary:

  • Coaches 
  • Officials
  • Team Managers
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Membership Secretary
  • Administrators
  • Caterors
  • Commitee members

Although we do not pay for the above services, we can cover expenses.

Running an athletics club on a day to day basis can be very time consuming but with more volunteers it makes light work for everyone. If every member/parent contributed a few hours across the year all responsibilities will be covered. 

We are always on the look out for volunteers for some of the following:

  • Assissting at Open Meets
  • Officiating
  • Coaching
  • Team Management
  • Administration
  • Assissting Coaches
  • Supervision of Minors
  • Catering
  • Bar Work
  • Volunteer Coordinator
  • Fund Raising
  • Maintenance
  • Web Administration
  • Representative on External Committees
